WINOOSKI, Vt. (WCAX) – An eclectic business in Winooski is closing after two years.
Catland Vintage co-owner Jaye MacAskill is saying goodbye to this chapter in her life as she is on the point of transfer again to Canada along with her household.
The retailer is closing on Sunday at 3 p.m., however MacAskill is keen to remain so long as persons are coming and taking the cat antiques home.
She says she’s going to discover a place for no matter is left, whether or not it’s donating the gadgets or conserving some for herself.
Overall, MacAskill says the shop was beloved by the neighborhood.
“It was so wonderful having so much support from the local community and from wider afield. It just– I’ve felt so loved and appreciated the whole time we’ve been here,” she stated.
MacAskill says she doesn’t have plans to open Catland Vintage in Canada, however she says one other business could also be coming to fill the empty area in Winooski. Although she will’t say what simply but, she says it’s very completely different from her business.
