A pregnant young cat who was dumped in a field by a pond has discovered her perpetually home.
Lily, who was pregnant with 4 kittens on the time, was discovered with two male cats, Newt and Reed, in Seaford final summer season.
The trio had been handed into the Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, in The Broyle, Ringmer, “very hungry and thirsty”.
They got meals, water and a heat quiet area to relaxation, together with veterinary care.
Matthew Gough, Raystede’s Head of Animal Welfare, mentioned: “We do not know why these beautiful cats had been dumped, however we do know that they had been in disaster consequently, significantly Lily, as she was pregnant.”
Lily had an emergency c-section and gave delivery to 4 kittens on the centre.
Mr Gough mentioned: “Lily was too young to have kittens, and giving delivery was very tough for her, a lot in order that she would have died had we not been there to provide her the pressing veterinary care she wanted.
“We are relieved that they had been present in time and that we had been in a position to assist them.”

“She now sees each room as hers and naps on all beds and particularly she has a desire to take a seat on a newspaper when somebody is studying it.”
Although the cats and kittens are actually settled of their new houses, Mr Gough mentioned animals being deserted is changing into more and more widespread.
He mentioned: “The story of Lily and her kittens, together with Newt and Reed, is unhappy, and we want that it hadn’t occurred.
