Make room within the trophy case as a result of a brand new honor has been bestowed upon our metropolis, or at the very least upon an esteemed citizen of our metropolis: One Tony “Scarface” Baloney has received the title of “Wackiest Cat Name” in Nationwide’s Wacky Pet Names contest.

Baloney is a combined home shorthair cat and according to his owner, identified in the contest as Alenna S., “Tony came to me and my husband as a foster with the name ‘Scarface.’”

But, the title didn’t really feel fairly proper.

“He was such a silly guy,” she mentioned. “We figured his former home must have just loved that movie, because he was certainly no Tony Montana – but he definitely was a Tony Baloney.”

Baloney was picked as one of many high 10 wackiest canine, cat and unique pet names among the many pets insured by Nationwide pet insurance coverage. Those names had been then put to a public vote.

Other winners had been a canine named Molly from Corporate and Thor Odinbun, God of Bunder, a bunny. All winners, or homeowners of the winners, will “receive a professional photo shoot with their pet and a gift card to create a custom pet portrait.”

A pleasant reward however truthfully, with a cat named Tony “Scarface” Baloney, you don’t want a prize to show you’re a winner.
