When we consider veterinarians or animal shelters classifying their animals, we believe they do it based upon size or age. We’d presume this is the simplest method to identify their requirements, energy levels, and if they’re healthy. But we just recently found out that’s not the case for cats. At least it isn’t at this California-based animal healthcare facility

TikTok user @apccvet published a clip that shares the “official” method to classify cats. Trust us when we state this is the funniest thing ever. We’ll never ever classify cats in any other method now. Check it out!

O.M.G. The chonk chart?! We seriously couldn’t enjoy this any longer. The classifications simply kept improving and much better. No question this clip has more than 5.1 million views, it’s pure excellence. And because it was published by a real animal healthcare facility, that must be accurate and precise, ideal? LMAO!

“I own a mega chonker who just got her glucose checked and she’s healthy and normal so she’s just chonking to chonk,” commented @amlp712. We enjoy to hear that! Just as we people have bodies that can be found in various sizes and shapes, so do cats. And we enjoy all of them similarly!

If you’re ever stressed over the size of your cat talk to your veterinarian. They’ll be the ones to inform you the healthiest weight based upon the breed or age. Other times you may encounter the concern that your cat isn’t consuming. This can take place since of disease, tension, or modifications in food choices. If you wish to attempt getting your cat to consume once again by yourself, very first start by providing them something brand-new. Start with little sample sizes or perhaps attempt putting tuna juice or chicken broth on the food. This may lure them to consume. But once again, if absolutely nothing, connect to your veterinarian for help.
