HAMILTON, Ohio (WXIX) – A Hamilton Grand Jury will quickly determine whether or not or to not indict a person who was arrested for animal cruelty.
According to Hamilton Municipal Court Records, 27-year-old Zhean Bai, of Oxford, waived his proper to a preliminary listening to on Wednesday.
On Jan. 31, Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones mentioned Bai chased a cat into an Indian Springs condominium advanced, caught the cat, then slammed it to the bottom.
Dog wardens later discovered the cat, which was nonetheless alive, dumped in a bag behind the building.
The animal was so severely injured with a fractured pelvis and backbone it needed to be euthanized.
Bai was charged with prohibitions regarding companion animals and breaking and coming into, each of that are fifth-degree felonies. He was booked into the Butler County jail.
