GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A nonprofit that operates a cellular spay and neuter clinic for cats was focused by thieves in Gwinnett County final week.
Renee Cardona owns Catsnip and says she spays and neuters as much as 40 cats a day throughout Georgia all from a truck.
She parks in public locations and units up close to animal shelters to supply low-cost spay and neuter companies to manage the cat inhabitants.

Last Thursday, she opened the door to her truck to seek out thieves had brought on 1000’s of {dollars} price of harm by shattering a window and damaging a door.
Now, she simply desires to get again to work.
“We would love to get back on the road and start spaying and neutering cats and again and doing our part to help,” Cardona stated.
She has stored the truck parked at a Snellville storage facility for the previous six years.
Thursday morning, she observed the door wouldn’t shut and located money lacking together with medication probably tampered with.
“For this to happen I just don’t understand why,” she stated.
Gwinnett County Police are investigating the break-in.

“With the door damaged,” she stated, “we can’t even begin to try and travel or have it safe enough to keep cats in their carriers once they’re inside the truck.”
Cardona says mechanics have advised her it might be weeks till the door is in a position to get replaced.
