Last month we welcomed individuals to send out in pictures of their family pets to be in with an opportunity of winning a £50 reward.

Now, after Oxford Mail readers chose their preferred family pets, 9 dogs and one cat have actually been shortlisted.

Coupons are now appearing in the Oxford Mail for you to choose your favourite.

Oxford Mail:

Amy Brown, from Witney, sent in a picture of her Springer Spaniel Rosie.

She said: “She’s my little partner and buddy, she deals with me, brings out me, generally never ever leaves my side.

“She had a horrible past and has overcome so much anxiety. She’s not just a dog to our family, she keeps us all smiling.”

Georgina Harkins, from Didcot, sent in a picture of her dog, likewise called Rosie, a Romanian rescue cross breed.

She said: “Rosie was discovered disposed on the streets starving and badly unhealthy at approximately 2 months old.

“She was then rescued and taken into the UK and embraced at 6 months.

“She fidgeted and scared when she initially showed up and was frightened of whatever.

“She will be 2 years of ages this summer season and now she is growing!

“She’s positive, happy, healthy and exceptionally creative.

Oxford Mail:

“She loves learning and training and has built so much confidence, she is the perfect companion and such a beautiful dog not only to look at but with a gorgeous nature too.”

And readers are advised that there is just one vote permitted per discount coupon.

The winner will be called the Oxford Mail Perfect Pet 2023, and the £50 reward will be on its method to one extremely happy owner.

The competitors was introduced to accompany National Pet Month.

A campaign ran throughout April to commemorate and raises awareness of accountable animal ownership through instructional projects and resources throughout its different platforms.

The NPM website says: “As an instructional campaign, NPM is special in combining animal well-being charities, expert bodies, animal businesses, schools, youth groups, and animal owners.

The campaign was collaborated by the National Office Of Animal Health (NOAH) And UK Pet Food.

With increasing living expenses and UK animal owners, charities and saves feeling the pinch, the campaign intends to supply lots of practical assistance for animal moms and dads and carers in 2023.
