Two bobcat kittens that had been discovered orphaned had been settling in effectively at their new home at Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, Louisiana, after arriving in early March, based on a press launch from the zoo on March 18.
The kittens had been practically a 12 months old and had been “full of energy and curiosity for their new surroundings” within the zoo’s Louisiana Swamp exhibit, the press launch mentioned.
“These two young males were raised by Wildlife Care of Southern California rehabilitation center before finding their permanent home at Audubon Zoo,” the zoo wrote. “Although shut in age, the kittens are usually not brothers. “Once they arrived at Audubon, they were given names fitting their new Louisiana home: Creole, named after the Louisiana culture and lifestyle, and Chinchuba, which means ‘alligator’ in the Choctaw language,” they mentioned.
