Michelle Epley, Intake Facility Director with the Humane Society, stated final Spring the shelter put 1200 puppies and kittens in foster care.
“Anything under a pound is immediately put into foster within hours of being on the facility because it cannot stay here, it needs to have that bottle and everything to be watched constantly,” stated Epley.
