TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A band raised money for an area organization devoted to serving to stray cats whereas performing on the Evergy Plaza’s ‘Live at Lunch’ occasion.
“Sloppy But Lucky” is an area Irish folk-punk band that enjoys donating to animal rescues any funds they earn throughout their music gigs. The band’s Facebook web page lists some recent donations they’ve made, together with $274 to Melissa’s Second Chances, $424 to the Street Cats Club, which sponsors 5 cats on the organization, and $235 to the Jefferson Co. Humane Society — all organizations on a mission to assist animals in our area.
