A great Samaritan helped save a month-old kitten who was deserted aboard a Metro C (Green) Line practice, officers stated Wednesday.
The kitten, now named Eloise, was found Monday by a Metro rider who alerted the practice operator, in accordance with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Eloise was safely transported by Metro personnel to the spcaLA South Bay Pet Adoption Center in Hawthorne, the place she was examined by medical workers and seemed to be in good situation.
