A group that searches for missing pets believes a cat that did not come home may be trapped somewhere.

The 10-year-old moggie named Pookie went missing from his new home in Wembley Hill Road, Wembley, on Thursday, December 29.

Its spokesperson Alisha Turner said: “This is completely out of character for Pookie and we are concerned that he could be trapped somewhere”.

Pookie is described as having a chunky build and a black and white body with a white bib and two white paws. He is also both chipped and neutered.

Animal Search UK is urging people to check their sheds and gardens for the missing feline and says anyone who thinks they may have seen Pookie should contact them immediately.

The organisation has been reuniting pets with their families for 22 years and urges people to join the Pet Watch Campaign to prevent them being permanently lost.
