Kate Makin was residing on a boat on the Thames, in between Henley and Shiplake, when her cat Oscar went missing out on in the summer season of 2017.
The 40-year-old landlady said she looked for months prior to quiting hope.
But recently she got a call from a veterinarian who informed her that Oscar, who was broken, had actually been discovered near Sonning.
“It was actually surreal. I didn’t understand how to process it,” Ms Makin said.
The veterinarian informed her that Oscar was discovered as a roaming by an elderly female who then brought him into the practice.
Ms Makin quickly chose to drive to Woodley to gather him.
“When I went to get him it was odd due to the fact that he was concealing,” she said.
“He didn’t identify me then, I do not believe, however he was substantial, he’s certainly discovered a couple of homes to get food,” Ms Makin included.
She said as quickly as they showed up home Oscar went directly under the couch, however after a couple of hours got on her chest.
“Now he does not like it if I leave the room, he is rather connected at the minute,” Ms Makin included.
