THE death of Inverness Botanic Garden’s precious cat Shadow was a “terrible” blow for personnel and visitors alike.

The free-to-enter destination is popular with visitors from throughout the Highlands and beyond.

However the city’s favoured green area has a brand-new feline buddy in the type of Ginger George who has actually used up the mantle of making everybody feel welcome.
