It’s March Meowness!
Who would suppose that someday you can use a cat image as foreign money? Well, in an effort to encourage library use, the Worcester Public Library in Massachusetts is accepting photographs of cats as fee for excellent fines on misplaced or broken library supplies all through this month.
Library officers say a big variety of young patrons have gathered charges for the reason that begin of the pandemic, and so they hope the cat photograph program will incentivize their return.
“Even if you don’t have a cat in your life, you can still draw one,” Worcester Public Library government director Jason Homer mentioned. “Even if it’s one of the big cats, like a tiger or a lion, and we’ll be excited to see those.”
The program has been a hit up to now, with over 400 accounts cleared within the first 5 days of March.
