Mariska Hargitay is sharing extra about naming her cat after Taylor Swift’s track “Karma.”
On Thursday, the actress, 60, appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon shared her ideas on Swift naming her cat after Hargitay’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit character, Olivia Benson.
“It was such a sweet honor and I think she loved SVU and I think she loved Grey’s Anatomy,” Hargitay informed host Fallon, 49. “So she named one after me and one after Ellen Pompeo.”
“But then, here’s what’s even cooler. Then you got a new addition to the family you got a cat,” Fallon continued. “You got a siamese cat and the cat’s name [is] Karma,” he added as he held up a photograph of the pet.
“There was no other name for this cat, ” Hargitay revealed after the crowd laughed and cheered. “And she’s such a Karma. She’s so perfect and aptly named and it’s just right.”

“You posted that and then Taylor responded and said, ‘Are you serious?!!!! Nothing has ever come more full circle LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!” Fallon then defined.
“That was a thrill,” Hargitay responded.
Back in November, Hagitay revealed that she had gotten a brand new cat named Karma.
