A male has actually appeared in court to reject animal ruthlessness offenses after a variety of dead cats were left in public areas in north London, cops said.
David Avhanvhondo, 56, is charged with performing a restricted treatment and triggering unneeded suffering to a safeguarded animal.
He appeared on Monday at Highbury Magistrates’ Court, where he got in innocent pleas to both offenses.
It follows issues were raised by members of the general public following the discovery of a variety of dead cats in the area of the Pleydell Estate, Islington, in between September 2022 and February.
Officers later on made an arrest at about 4am on Sunday on suspicion of animal ruthlessness offenses.
The Metropolitan Police did not define how the accused is implicated of triggering suffering to an animal or the number of were discovered dead.
Avhanvhondo, of King Square, London, was launched on bail and will appear at the exact same court on Tuesday 28 February.
