SAN ANTONIO – A man has actually been jailed after supposedly eliminating a kitten throughout an argument at a San Antonio hotel on Monday.
Robert Martinez, 43, was jailed Tuesday on a third-degree felony charge for cruelty to a nonlivestock animal.
San Antonio authorities reported that Martinez was checking out somebody at Staybridge Suites off NE Loop 410 when an argument taken place.
According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Martinez ended up being aggressive throughout the argument and got the victim’s kitten and tossed it throughout the room.
The victim informed authorities she then saw the kitten on the flooring, surrounded by blood.
Investigators said the kitten was discovered dead at the scene and associated its injuries to Martinez, the affidavit states.
Martinez is being hung on a $10,000 bond, prison records reveal.
Court records reveal that Martinez does not have any previous charges in Bexar County.
