Welcoming a litter of kittens can be interesting for everybody included, from the mom herself to the owners who get to witness them being born. Sometimes, however, even Dad stays to take in the wonderful minute.
In an invaluable TikTok video from @asupportivepaw, one Maine Coon cat papa sits patiently outdoors his infant mom’s birth box as she adoringly showers and feeds her kittens. He’s such an encouraging partner, and it simply warms our hearts to see!

How sweet is this? We were already smiling from ear to ear when we saw this doting papa viewing adoringly from the sidelines, however we almost shed a tear when he actually used an encouraging paw to Mama. Some human papas aren’t even that user-friendly!
Maine Coon cats tend to be friendly, outbound cats, so it does not shock us to see this papa spending time his little family. Especially if these moms and dads are bonded–he’s most likely around a fair bit! Still, that does not interfere with the sweet taste of such minutes.
“It’s fantastic how some male animals resemble, ‘yep that’s mine I assisted make them,'” concurred @audipie247. Isn’t it charming? Not all animal dads are by doing this, so it’s additional unique that this beautiful gray cat is. We understand he’ll continue to be a terrific impact as the kittens mature, and we make certain he’ll more than happy to have Mom back to himself later on, too!
Another information that commenters enjoyed was this papa’s regard for Mom’s limits. As @anna_m0rie said, “I enjoy how she informed him off when he was going to climb up over the top.” She understands what’s finest! Luckily, this Maine Coon papa appreciated her desires and was rewarded with cuddles when she was all set.
