Four orphaned kittens rescued in Louisville and brought to the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center have been transferred to a different caregiver for the winter till their launch in spring.
The kittens had been staying on the Greenwood facility in Boulder County consuming, enjoying and napping whereas receiving care from the animal care group and veterinarians within the type of vaccines, drugs and common check-ups.
Greenwood’s position with the kittens ended Aug. 1 when the kittens have been transferred to a licensed rehabilitator that makes a speciality of carnivores.
“We were thrilled that they were going to a facility with a brand new, large carnivore enclosure designed specifically for raising Bobcats through the winter,” Greenwood mentioned in a press launch.
Donations obtained for the bobcats’ care will likely be handed alongside to the impartial rehabilitator that’s caring for them within the coming months.
