It turned up as an expense in Illinois, when Adlai Stevenson II was guv (1949-1953). Stevenson opposed the expense then, stating that cats were utilized to “a certain amount of unescorted roaming” which the relationships in between cat and bird was an old one, as was the relationship in between bird and worm. Stevenson ran two times for president on the Democratic ticket (1952 and 1956). and he worked as our ambassador to the United Nations.
I concur with his judgment on this matter.
