The RSPCA is interesting for data after an 8 week old tabby kitten was discovered tied up in a plastic bag and thrown in somebody’s bin in south Tottenham.
The terrified kitten was found at round 1pm on Sunday 1 October on Kitchener Road, Tottenham, North London by a member of the general public who discovered the bag inside his bin after listening to it rustling round inside.
He referred to as the RSPCA and animal rescue officer (ARO) Neil Coleman collected the kitten and put notices up within the space. She was taken to a neighborhood centre the place she has been named Chanel.
Neil mentioned: “This is appalling and whoever is responsible must be callous to discard a kitten and throw her away like rubbish.
“If it wasn’t for this member of the public finding her, she would have suffered a lengthy and terrifying death.
“I am just hoping someone may have seen something suspicious and can help me with my investigation. We think the kitten could have been in there for up to 24 hours, she was absolutely terrified.
“I am also appealing to see if anyone knows of anyone who had a tabby kitten like this but is no longer in possession of her.”
