ATLANTA (WANF/Gray News) – A scared kitten was saved from its harmful perch alongside Interstate 285 this week and has a brand new home because of a DeKalb County Fire Rescue crew.
Capt. Almedin Kulo and crew members Joshua Andrews, Jesse Cole and Stephen Krick have been responding to hazmat calls Monday once they noticed the small white kitten shivering on the median wall of the busy freeway.
They determined to cease and pull the frightened feline to security.
The kitten has since been adopted by the mom of Tyson Lewis, a DeKalb senior firefighter, who’d just lately misplaced her cat.
