MERIDEN, Conn. — As authorities were searching a taken vehicle recently, officers found a kitten inside in Meriden, Connecticut.

The Meriden Police Department said the kitten was recuperated after a taken car crashed previously today. Officers worked to examine who the kitten came from and found out that a person of the juveniles that was jailed was its owner.
The juvenile did not inform the authorities about the kitten or have anybody call them about the feline once officers discovered who it belonged it, they had the ability to return it to the juvenile’s mom, authorities state.
“We appreciate everyone’s efforts in sharing the post and raising awareness of our efforts to reunite him with his family. It was a response to one of the posts that led us back to the juvenile. We also appreciate all the calls and emails to our Animal Control Officers with offers to adopt our furry friend,” authorities said on Facebook.
The kitten was discovered under a seat in the car that crashed with a police vehicle, according to The Associated Press.
Officers pursued the car since it was apparently utilized in heists in numerous neighborhoods previously in the day, the AP reported.
After the crash 6 suspects got away the location, the AP reported. All 6 were ultimately jailed.
