Devastated Kerry Katona has confessed she was left ‘crying her eyes out’ after her stomach and eyelid lift surgeries were cancelled at the last minute.
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 42, was struck down with a ‘nasty’ virus that has ‘ruined’ her Christmas… but it’s now prevented her procedures from going ahead.
She wrote in her OK! column: ‘I have booked the whole of January off around this surgery but, as you all know, I was really poorly over Christmas.

‘The doctor saw on my notes that I’d been on antibiotics and, because of that, I couldn’t go under as they have to be 100% sure I’ll be OK.
‘I was crying my eyes out – I’m at home, I’ve cancelled all my work for weeks. But fair play to them for thinking about my health first.’
Kerry went on to explain that although she’s ‘gutted’, she’ll soon be going in for an X-ray and blood tests to get the ball rolling again.

Back in December, the reality star updated her fans on her health after being struck down with a ‘nasty’ virus that has ‘ruined’ her Christmas.
She took to Instagram to share a video from her car, saying she had been feeling ‘poorly’.
The mother-of-five said that she has a swollen neck and a sore throat, saying: ‘I feel like s*** and I wanna cry.’
Kerry had been starring as an Ugly Sister in pantomime Cinderella in Lincoln, alongside her daughter Lily-Sue, 19.
She lamented: ‘I am sick to death of moaning and complaining about being poorly. It has literally ruined my whole panto experience. It’s ruined my Christmas.’
Kerry had Covid earlier that month and said she had improved with antibiotics, before becoming ill again in the days after Christmas.
She added: ‘It’s really really got me down because I am normally like the person who’s full of morale and keeps the energy up, and all I’m doing is moaning and complaining.’

She apologised, saying: ‘All I’m doing is moaning, because it’s just ruined everything. This illness has ruined everything.’
She continued: ‘I just want to feel better because I haven’t got long left [in panto] and I haven’t enjoyed it, because I’ve been so bloody poorly. I’m sick of bloody moaning about it.’
She revealed the illness has been continuing for weeks, saying: ‘I was so poorly [earlier this month], I got on the stage and I did it, and then I got better, and now I’m ill again’.
Kerry said she was suffering from a ‘nasty’ virus and couldn’t understand why she couldn’t shake it, saying: ‘I don’t go out, I don’t drink, I don’t smoke.’
She added: ‘When I’m well, I am on form. I am upbeat, I am the one that keeps everyone’s energy levels going, I’m dead funny.
‘This virus, whatever it is that is going round, is just, it’s literally sucked it out of me.’
