The purr-fect gift: Kate Beckinsale gets competitive as she plays mini pool with her ‘cheating’ cat Willow in hilarious new videos

Kate Beckinsale got competitive as she played pool with her cat Willow in a slew of funny Instagram videos on Monday.

The actress, 49, gifted her white fur pal a ‘mini pool table for Christmas’ as she sat in her kitchen showing the pet how to play in hilarious clips.

Kate, the daughter of late Porridge actor Richard Beckinsale, broke the balls with a tiny cue before telling Willow: ‘Your go’.

The Underworld star looked effortlessly chic in the videos as she slicked her brunette tresses back in a high ponytail with a large black bow placed on top.

Keeping casual, Kate opted for a crisp white sweatshirt with black writing printed across the front and accessorised with small gold hoop earrings.

The cat placed its head on the table knocking the balls around, before dropping the white ball into the pocket.

The model said: ‘That’s the white, you’ve potted the white. That’s not the rules. You’ve potted the white ball. That’s called cheating.’

As Kate attempted to get the white ball from the pocket to continue playing, Willow snapped back causing the model to shout, ‘Ow’.

The Pearl Harbour star was seen stroking the pet with the cue in another clip as her fur friend rested her head on the table, prompting Kate to say: ‘That’s not the game’.

In a final hilarious clip, the white cat started to get the hang of the mini game as Kate congratulated Willow for pocketing the balls.

She said excitedly: ‘Well done, Willow. Excellent!’

Kate penned alongside the post: ‘Willow received a pool table for Christmas and of course had to be a huge d**k about it before saying thank you’.

It is not the first time that Kate has shown her affection for her beloved cats, as she previously shared snaps of her furry friend Clive dressed in a tuxedo on a lead.

Last Friday, she took to Instagram to share a video of herself and her Clive aboard a private jet.

The actress looked sensational in cat-print pyjamas and used a hot towel to clean her feline friend, who appeared to be wearing a green wool sweater.

She fastened a huge black bow on top of her head and accessorised with an array of silver earrings.

Alongside the hilarious clip, she posted a slew of snaps of the pair post-flight, where Kate cosied up to her pet.

In her caption, Kate wrote: ‘Made it to safety.’
