Jenna Bush Hager is internet hosting a somewhat uncommon celebration of affection — and it entails her cats!

On Thursday’s episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Bush Hager, 42, shared a brief update about her two beloved cats, Hollywood and Mango.

“By the best way, I have to announce that my cats, Hollywood and Mango, are getting married this weekend,” she informed co-host Hoda Kotb.

“You’re having a ceremony?” Kotb, requested excitedly, to which Bush Hager replied, “We’re having a ceremony!”

The Today host, first launched Hollywood, her first furry member of the family on Instagram in January 2023 after mentioning she welcomed the kitten to her household round Christmas earlier within the month — regardless of coping with cat allergy symptoms.

“Do you see why we name her Hollywood?” Bush Hager mentioned within the put up exhibiting off the brand new household cat. “She’s lovely.”

“We name her ‘Holly’ for brief,” she added. “Holly, center identify ‘Wood,’ final identify ‘Hager,’ ” the cat mother added within the Instagram video.

Just about one 12 months later, she revealed that she had welcomed one other furry buddy to her household — Mr. Mango Mellow was given to her 8-year-old daughter Poppy as a Christmas current in December 2023.

Asked by Kotb how Mr. Mango Mellow’s identify was chosen on the time, Bush Hager mentioned it wasn’t her selection. “I did not identify him. He’s Poppy’s. I am unable to go inside that sensible mind,” she added, noting that “he seems to be like a marshmallow.”

“We bought him yesterday, and it is so far so good,” Bush Hager added. “Santa gave Poppy the child, and she or he was so excited she almost began to cry. She informed all her associates.”

At the time, the mom of three famous that Hollywood was “pleased to have a child brother” and that the 2 cats have been spooning. “Mila was like, ‘Eww, what’s spooning?’… She’s like, ‘That sounds nasty.’ She was identical to, ‘Yuck,’ “Hager recalled. “I used to be like, ‘Spooning is only one person cuddling the opposite person.’ She’s like, ‘Eww! Holly would not like that!’ ”

In addition to Poppy, Bush Hager can be mother to son Hal, 4, and daughter Mila, 10.

Although Bush Hager is a self-proclaimed cat woman, she revealed that her allergy symptoms worsened when Mango joined their household, joking on the time her household bought Mango that she “took an additional Zyrtec, and all the things’s all good.”

Despite the challenges with allergy symptoms and being known as a “cat woman” (as Kotb put it) the daughter of former President George W. Bush mentioned she is proud of all her pets.

“As somewhat woman, I beloved cats a lot. They have been the forbidden fruit ‘trigger I used to be extremely allergic,” she continued, noting that her mom — former First Lady Laura Bush — had a cat named Dewey after the Dewey Decimal System (a nod to her function as a librarian).

“From the time we have been born, we had a cat. And I’d simply sit there, sucking my thumb with my eyes swollen shut ‘trigger I’m extremely allergic. And I do not care. So right here we’re,” Bush Hager completed.

Today with Hoda and Jenna airs weekdays (10 a.m. ET) on NBC.
