On Saturday, the Janesville Beloit Kennel Club companions with TallyHoEvents for the 5 annual Fast CAT on the Kieselburg Forest Preserve, 5801 Swanson Road.
Fast CAT, or Coursing Ability Test, permits all dogs registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) to race down a 100-yard course with encouragement from a chase lure. Dogs collaborating within the occasion eagerly awaited their flip and noticed their friends connecting again to their pure instincts.
“It’s grown in popularity because it is we call a ‘springboard sport.’ So, if someone is thinking about getting into AKC and they want to try something that’s relatively simpler to get into, Fast CAT is a good one to start with,” Janesville Beloit Kennel Club Field Chair Jill Freiermuth says. “When they see that lure run, they’re all just very excited to get in there and do their job and have fun.”

“I started her in a fun run just to see if she would enjoy it and she just took off like a crazy woman. That was it and we started competing. That’s all she wants to do.
