A 21-year-old Turlock man was sentenced to 2 years in jail for torturing kittens and setting them on hearth, the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office introduced.
Joshua Scott, 21, of Turlock was convicted of arson. According to the district lawyer’s workplace, Scott tortured two kittens and set them on hearth.
The case was investigated by the Turlock Police Department and the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit. The district lawyer’s workplace mentioned the 2 businesses carried out additional investigations into the case that turned up key proof, which allowed them to pursue the weightier arson conviction.
Scott must register as an arsonist as soon as free from jail.
