UNION CO., Ky. (WFIE) – A cat in Union County has been saved from a ravioli can.

Animal Control officers say a mail provider discovered the cat with a can caught on its head close to Road 6 in Whispering Meadows.

An animal management officer got here out and tried to free the cat, but it surely wouldn’t budge.

It was taken to the shelter the place a pair of wire cutters was used to lastly take away the can.

Officials say aside from some dehydration and a pungent head, the cat now named “Ravioli” is recovering effectively.

“It certainly takes a village,” officers shared on Facebook.
