Rosie is much out of your common feline pal, as she is approaching her thirty second birthday.

The beloved moggie is now a full-time home cat and lives in Peckover Road, close to Eaton Park.

Her proprietor Lila Brissett adopted Rosie as a kitten from a cat rescue woman in Lakenham as a result of Rosie’s first proprietor discovered her daughter was allergic to cats.

Rosie’s mum was a gray rag doll – which provides Rosie her “bushy squirrel tail” – and her dad is believed to have been a ginger tom.

Although she’s drained now, she has a beautiful, docile temperament and has lived a protracted and fulfilled life.

Lila remembers the primary winter she had Rosie, the place she unsurely navigated her manner via the deep snow.

“I’ll miss her when she goes,” she added. “But I’ll by no means have her put down.”
