BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – The Humane Society of Broward County signed up with Local 10 News Saturday in continuing its search to discover caring, long-term houses for family pets.
Cherie Wachter, Vice President of Marketing at the HSBC, presented Local 10 audiences to 4-year-old “Rocco.”
Wachter said Rocco is a 70-pound Great Pyrenees and is thought about to be smaller sized in size considering that the breed can have dogs that weigh approximately 100+ pounds.
According to Wachter, Rocco was formerly residing in a car with a homeless family. His previous owners shaved him down due to his matted fur, however generally his coat is fluffy.
Wachter encouraged owners that have dogs like Rocco with longer coats to get groomed regularly to prevent twisted fur that would make them unpleasant.
She said that Rocco is a bit shy around other dogs, however he ought to be great with a slower intro to another dog.
Wachter said she is uncertain how Rocco is with kids or cats and isn’t anticipated to grow any longer.
The Humane Society of Broward County likewise notified Local 10 audiences about a 13-year-old cat called “Cupcake.”
