A gaggle of native heroes efficiently eliminated a fish hook with a lure from a cat’s mouth.
Angie McKew, a Realtor with Sandhill Realty, was not too long ago displaying a home in Aberdeen close to Crest Drive and 1st Street when her shoppers seen a cat operating by the yard with a fish hook connected to its mouth.

After a number of makes an attempt to coax the cat, the shopper’s son-in-law, who’s a member of the navy, was in a position to choose it up and wrap it in his shirt.
The Aberdeen Police Department was contacted for help. An officer and the person tried to take away the hook with none instruments. After a number of makes an attempt, the fireplace division was referred to as to the scene with the required gear to securely extract the hook from the cat’s mouth.
“It was definitely one of those “Mayberry” moments the place all our native heroes have been concerned from the navy to the police and fireplace departments,” stated McKew. “It certainly made an impression on my clients who exclaimed this is just like Mayberry! And who wouldn’t want to live in such a sweet town with wonderful local officials and neighbors all ready to help their neighbors and, in this case, a sweet little cat?”
