On the saddest of days, one North Fork household discovered themselves looking out desperately for his or her misplaced cat.

MATTITUCK, NY — On the saddest of days, one Mattituck household discovered some measure of solace as their misplaced cat, Rick, made his method home safely.
Dave and Kate Moisa, who stay with their two young boys on Grand Avenue in Mattituck, had simply attended Dave’s grandmother’s funeral after they realized that their beloved household cat was lacking.

“It’s an actual onerous day,” stated Donna Hubbard, Dave’s aunt.
But Tuesday evening, Rick was discovered. “They went outdoors to the entrance porch earlier than going to mattress and there he was,” Hubbard stated.
While they had been on the funeral, members of the family had been on the home watching the boys. And then, after they went to hitch everybody after the funeral, they realized that the cat was nowhere to be discovered.
The household was heartsick whereas he was gone. “The boys had been simply devastated,” Hubbard stated.
