Golden Hill first, second and third graders placed on a purr-fect efficiency of “Kitty Cat Capers” on Feb. 15. Led by music instructor Kristin Risedorph, the scholars sang 5 songs centered on this playful theme. Students took on the position of cats, carrying colourful cat ears and ensuring to meow, lick their paws, and play with their loofahs like balls of yarn, all whereas singing with massive smiles on their faces.
“We’ve been working on this since Thanksgiving break since it was five songs to learn, with a lot of words for our littlest friends,” stated Risedorph. “I’m glad that they were so into it. They really took ownership of it.”
This daytime live performance introduced a big crowd of households to help the young college students.
“I thought the concert was fantastic,” shared dad or mum Larie Olejniczak. “I’m so happy that the school is providing opportunities for the parents to come and watch the children perform.”
Olejniczak’s son, Conrad, shared that he loved singing within the live performance. His favourite music to study and carry out was “Itty Bitty Kitty Cats.”
The live performance may simply be remembered as among the best in Golden Hill hiss-story.
