MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) – The Manitowoc Fire Department reacted to a still alarm from a building on the 900 block of South 26th Street in the morning hours of Saturday, April 15.
Upon arrival, fire teams saw smoke originating from the two-family residence, triggered by an active fire.
According to the Manitowoc Fire Department, a fast and comprehensive search of your home was carried out – no people were discovered. Firefighters found a cat on the 2nd flooring, however, which appeared scared, however otherwise unscathed. The feline was secured of the threat zone and turned over to the owner later on in the day.
The fire was snuffed out rapidly. Neither a cause nor a price quote of the damage were launched.
