CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – A cat was rescued by firefighters when a northwest Charlotte townhome caught hearth on Friday morning.
The Charlotte Fire Department responded to the fireplace on the Birch Townhomes on Southwest Boulevard round 6:15.
Firefighters have been met with smoke coming from the townhome. The hearth was managed inside about half-hour of their arrival.
Officials stated no person was harm however three adults have been displaced.
Four cats have been contained in the condominium and all made it out alive.
The reason for the fireplace is underneath investigation.
