FERNDALE, Mich. (FOX 2) – The Ferndale Cat Shelter is taking care of 45 cats after the animals were eliminated from a home Tuesday.
“In spite of odor, conditions, I believed they would all have her upper breathing infections, you understand. Boogers, you understand, and eye goop, and things, however they’re quite well took care of other than that they’re truly matted,” said Deanne Iovan, with the shelter. “They’re simply chill, they’re not really feral cats, they’re under-socialized, so they simply require some love.”
A man who owned the 18 kittens and 27 grownup cats got in touch with the shelter for help. The animals were residing on the 2nd flooring of his cottage.
