FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Park rangers in Fulton County found a brush fire on Wednesday might have been brought on by unlawful fireworks.
On Wednesday, Roswell fire authorities said systems were contacted us to react to a fire at Vickery Creek at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area around 7:20 p.m.

A Georgia Department of Natural Resources helicopter was contacted us to help in snuffing out hotspots and making sure the fire was completely snuffed out.
The fire was reported to be out around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.
According to the examination, authorities figured out the fire most likely stemmed from a fountain-style “Fat Cat” firework.

Officials verified that nobody was hurt in the occurrence.
CRNRA authorities advised park clients that fireworks are restricted which anybody discovered accountable for beginning an unlawful fire in the park can be charged with restitution to cover the cost of combating the fire and bring back the resource.
