A member of the general public made the invention in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, and took the mom and her kittens to a Scottish SPCA animal rescue and rehoming centre.

An “extraordinarily distressed” cat was discovered giving start in a crisp field after being dumped on a West Dunbartonshire avenue.

The white and gray feline gave start to 3 kittens, however one was stillborn.

A member of the general public got here throughout the field within the Tullichewan space of Alexandria on Monday 11 March and took the cats to a Scottish SPCA animal rescue and rehoming centre.

The animal welfare charity has now launched an investigation and is interesting for anybody with data to return ahead.

Nikki Morrison, Scottish SPCA centre supervisor, mentioned the cat was discovered giving start and was “extraordinarily distressed”.

She mentioned: “The cat and her remaining two kittens are receiving care and a focus from our workers at certainly one of our animal rescue and rehoming centres.”
