DOUGLAS — After spending a number of hours caught 40 ft up in a really tall tree, Milo the cat was reunited along with his household due to the Douglas Fire and Police departments.
The Douglas Police Department and Fire Department responded to a cat caught in a tree early Monday morning on Young Street.
The cat was roughly 40 ft excessive within the tree.
Firefighters used the ladder truck to climb up and seize the cat out of the tree.
Assistant Fire Chief Kelly Manning mentioned the proprietor of the cat was out walking his canine, noticed his cat within the tree and known as the hearth division.
“We have been capable of get the cat down and reunite the cat with (the proprietor),” Manning mentioned.
Since cats are natural-born predators, they might chase prey up a tree with out realizing what they’re getting themselves into. They might also climb timber once they really feel threatened.
