Doja Cat revealed on Twitter that she is “quitting” popular song. Doja’s should has alway been a mix of hip-hop, pop & R&B, however according to the artist, she’s chosen to concentrate on rap.
The 27-year-old tweeted: “no more pop” adding‘i also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are. I wasnt trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I’m burning out of hearing yall state that i can’t so I will … pop isnt amazing to me any longer. I dont wanna make it,”
Doja Cat formerly specified that her next task, “Hellmouth”, will be influenced by Rave Culture; however on another celebration, she said it will be straight R&B, and no rap at all. The upcoming task is the follow-up to Doja’s 3rd studio album ‘Planet Her’, which included Young Thug, The Weeknd, JID, SZA, Ariana Grande and more. ‘Planet Her’ got 8 elections at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards and won the prize for SZA collab “Kiss Me More” in the “Best Collaboration” classification.
