Doja Cat is not any stranger to defending herself towards web trolls and this time, she’s fired again at these criticizing her pure hair.
Just a couple of days in the past, the Scarlet rapper revealed the duvet artwork for some new music, approaching Friday (April 5). After getting a slew of backlash from individuals evaluating her tight curls to “pubic hair” and “sheep’s wool,” she took to Instagram Live along with her response.
“My hair is just 4C hair texture and a lot of y’all don’t give a f**k and that’s good, great […] That’s my hair. That’s fine. It’s okay. [Say] no comment or ‘beautiful.’ That looks great,” Doja started.
The Grammy winner continued, “I’m seeing a consistent pattern in my comments section of people saying is my hair pubic hair, is it carpet or is it sheep’s wool and it’s not even questions. Some people are being like, ‘That’s what it is’ but like people comparing my hair to sheep and pubes and carpet and popcorn and s**t like that — We gotta move forward. Let’s move forward. Let’s grow. Let’s stop.”
Doja concluded, “I can’t tell you what to do. I’m not your f**king parents [but] pubic hair, really?! That’s where we stand?”

The unfavourable remarks come after she deactivated her Instagram in early March over how she was being handled on the time.
In a since-deleted publish, the 28-year-old wrote, “hey i’m gonna deactivate because i’m not really feeling this anymore. you guys take care of yourselves. i like coming here to find inspo and see people being creative but i just feel like this is getting to be too much.”
For Doja, she as soon as used Instagram as a way of inspiration, however revealed she had “f**ked up thoughts” over “the way I’m spoken to on here and treated.”
She concluded, “Please watch how you talk to and about people on the internet. Bye.”
