A set of dogs left a burning home and firemens rescued a cat while snuffing out a house fire on Thursday.
The fire was reported on Las Cruces Avenue prior to 2 p.m.
Firefighters got here to discover heavy smoke originating from the interior and roofing system of the single-story home.
Fire teams browsed the home and released numerous water lines to moisten the flames.
During the search, firemens discovered a cat inside the home and securely eliminated it. Firefighters found out that 2 dogs left the home prior to their arrival.
The fire was brought under control within 10 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
The fire was identified to be unintentional in nature.
It triggered an approximated $20,000 in damage to the home.
The fire led to the momentary displacement of the home’s residents and their 3 family pets.
