WASHINGTON (7News) —
A D.C. firefighter rescued a cat that was caught in a tree after crews responded to a hearth alarm in Northwest Thursday, in response to a social media post.
The cute rescue effort was captured on video.

According to the put up, Probationary Firefighter McDowell made the rescue after a resident alerted the crew to the caught cat within the 2100 block of 4th Street, Northwest.
