STRATFORD — More than a dozen cats had been deserted within the woods close to Main Street Putney over the weekend, in keeping with native police.
Police stated in a Facebook publish at 1:19 p.m. Monday that they had been alerted to the scenario by an animal welfare name. The 15 deserted cats had been left in crates on River Road, Stratford Animal Control stated in a separate Facebook publish.
The cats had no meals, water or shelter from the weather, in keeping with police.”…(W)e fortunately acquired to them earlier than the heavy rains began,” Animal Control stated. The company hopes to lift $3,000 to assist pay for veterinary care.
Photos point out most or the entire cats are black. No additional details about the cats or their situation was instantly available.
