Coyote comes in person with cat inside home, California video reveals. ‘Terrified’

A video published online reveals a coyote roaming through a California home prior to it experiences a startled cat near a dining-room table.

“A coyote came into our house through the doggie door in the middle of the night,” composed Mia Shoshan with the TikTok video.

The coyote roamed through your home at about 4 a.m. Friday, May 5, KABC reported.

As Shoshan’s bro, who was awakened by the noise of the dog door, went to examine, the coyote encountered the family’s cat, according to the station.

“Our cat, Lily, started meowing and screaming, she was terrified and calling for us to help,” Shoshan informed KTLA.

Her bro challenged the coyote, which got away back out the dog door and left, according to the station. No animals or individuals were hurt.

“Please be careful and close them at night!!!” Shoshan composed on TikTok, alerting other dog door owners to make sure.

If you come across a coyote, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife recommends you to keep your range while clapping your hands and making other sound up until it leaves.

If the coyote techniques, make yourself look larger by waving your arms and yell or utilize noisemakers or whistles. If you or an animal are hurt by a coyote, call 911 and inform the closest workplace of the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
