Circleville – A Circleville policeman encountered a structure fire the other day on Ohio Street and kept individuals at bay while the fire department showed up.

According to First responders on the scene, a Fire broke out around 6:30 pm on Saturday in the location of the 400 block of Ohio Street. When they showed up heavy fire and smoke was originating from the back of the home. Mutual help was right away contacted us to a number of departments, while firemens began an instant attack and released a search and rescue.

After tearing down most of the flames, firemens went into the burning structure looking for anything living. During the search, they discovered a house cat and had the ability to get the animal to safety and provide the animal oxygen. Two dogs were likewise in the home and rescued however did not require medical help.
