CHARLOTTE — Multiple elements of the Charlotte public transportation system will likely be down for upkeep from Friday to Sunday, the Charlotte Observer studies.
The LYNX Blue Line and City LYNX Gold Line is not going to be operating over the three day stretch.
Charlotte Area Transit System stated the annual upkeep is for preventative measures and to make enhancements to the system.

The part of the Rail Trail at LYNX Blue Line East/West Station additionally closed on Friday. CATS has not stated when it can reopen.
Bus bridges are available in the course of the shutdowns and the Blue and Gold LYNX strains will return to regular at 9 a.m. on Monday.
