LAKE COUNTY — A Lake County cat was rescued from hazard after getting itself caught 60 toes up in a tree
Sue Schwartz, of Lake County, stated she initially observed the cat within the tree after listening to its incessant cries for assist.
“I kept hearing it meow,” Schwartz stated. “I searched all around the woods and finally found him initially about 50 feet up in the tree.”
Schwartz then contacted the fireplace division who instructed her they didn’t have any ladders that might attain the animal, leaving Schwartz to succeed in out to animal management who referred her again to the fireplace division.
Finally, Schwartz in the end selected to contact an area tree service firm by means of Bromley Tree Service whose proprietor Sean Bromley agreed to help.
“It needed help so we wanted to help it,” Bromley stated. “It was the right thing to do. Typically we try to help any time something like this happens, I try to do it for free if I’m in the area. If people call me and say a cat has only been stuck for a few hours, I tell them to wait until it’s been up there all day to decide they really need help. I don’t want to be running around town all day getting cats out of trees. We always try to help out in any way we can.”
